Beautiful vintage jewellery box, dating to the mid 20th century. Decorative inlaid features to the lid and a newly refurbished velvet lined interior.

This is a beautiful vintage jewellery box, dating to the mid 20th century. It was originally designed as a pencil/writing accessory box, but the interior compartments have been refurbished, converting it into a functional jewellery box.
The Exterior
The lid has decorative inlaid motifs, surrounded by frames of inlaid stringing. The inlay consists of a variety of hardwoods.
The box is complete with its original hinges and original hessian covering on the bottom.
The Interior
The interior has a removable storage tray at the top, consisting of four nicely partitioned storage compartments. Beneath this are two further partitioned compartments. The compartments are various shapes and shapes, making them ideal for storing different types of jewellery such as chains, pendants, rings and earrings. They have all been newly refurbished by ourselves with quality premium velvet panels to the bases. These have provided soft storage for jewellery.
Condition
This box is in excellent vintage condition. It has sound structure and barely any wear.
All of the inlay is present and intact.
The hinges are still in excellent working order.
The interior linings, being new, are in immaculate unused unworn condition.

International postage is £30 by Royal Mail International Tracked and/or Signed For postage. Delivery is fast, within 3-5 working days to Europe and 5-7 working days to the rest of the world. Delivery may be longer depending on the speed of your local postal service and/or if your parcel has to go through customs. Please note that we cannot deliver to international PO boxes as we use a secure insured postal service that requires a signature.
