Beautiful small vintage jewellery box from Sorrento in Southern Italy. Pretty floral inlay to the lid and a glossy high polished and varnished finish. Lovely newly refurbished interior compartment.

This is a beautiful small vintage jewellery box from Sorrento in Southern Italy. It dates to the 1970s and has a lovely refurbished compartment.
The Exterior
This box has beautiful Satinwood veneer. The lid has pretty floral inlay and the wood has a polished and varnished finish. This has given it a glossy shine.
The box is complete with its original silver metal piano hinge.
The Interior
The interior has a single small storage compartment which has been newly refurbished by ourselves. It has quality printed paper linings to the walls and a textured light pink velvet panel to the base. The paper features pretty pastel flowers and fancy script writing.
Condition
This box is in excellent vintage condition. It has sound structure and very little wear.
All of the inlay is present and intact.
The hinge is in good working order.
The interior linings, being new, are in immaculate unused unworn condition.

Please use the following measurements to ensure the box is the right size for your requirements. It is a charming small box which is ideal for a few small pieces of treasured jewellery such as rings, earrings and little pendants.
