Beautiful necklace (pendant and chain) presentation box. Stylish double door opening with a very pretty engraved clasp. Dark green leatherette finish with embossed gold details. Interior plush white flock insert and silk linings.

This is a high-quality necklace presentation box with a beautiful leatherette finish.
The necklace in the photos is for display purposes and is not included with the box. It can however be purchased from us - please see the details at the bottom of the page.
The Exterior
This box has a stylish double door opening and a beautifully shaped and engraved gold metal clasp. It has a beautiful dark green leatherette finish with embossed gold beading detail to the lid and embossed gold stringing detail to the front and rear sides.
The Interior
The interior compartment has a plush white flock insert with a grooved flap for holding a single fine chain with a thickness of 1-2mm. The flap of the insert is a small/medium size and will hold a pendant of up to 2.5cm in length and 3.5cm in width. As an alternative, a larger pendant or another piece of jewellery can be placed on the base of the insert, beneath/behind the flap. Please see below for further measurements.
The lovely flock covering is beautifully plush, providing very soft surfaces (front and back of the insert) for a chain and pendant. The insert can be removed which makes for easy placing/removing of a chain.
The interiors of the doors have beautiful white silk linings and padded white silk panels. One of these panels has the details of the jewellers from where this box originated. These are in beautiful embossed gold lettering.
Age/Origin
This box is modern, up to 15 years old. It originated at Sherman & Sons, Fine Jewelers, Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.
Condition
This box is in excellent pre-loved condition and appears to have seen very little or no use. It has sound structure and its clasp securely closes the box.
There is only extremely minor (barely visible) light wear to the leatherette finish.
The interior flock and silk linings are still in excellent condition. They are very clean and have no splits or fraying.

Please use the following measurements to ensure the box is the right size for your requirements.

Interior Flap of Flock Insert:
3.9cm length with a graduating width of between 3.3 - 4.3cm with a 1.2cm depth. The grooves for the chain are 1.0cm deep - this measurement is the highest point of the insert that a chain can sit if pulled taut. At this point, there is space below for a pendant of up to 2.5cm in length (and 3.5cm in width).
As an alternative, a larger pendant or another piece of jewellery can be placed on the base of the insert, beneath/behind the flap. This basal area measures 5.0 by 4.4cm and the compartment here has a 2.0cm depth.

International postage is £25 by Royal Mail International Tracked and/or Signed For postage. Delivery is fast, within 3-5 working days to Europe and 5-7 working days to the rest of the world. Delivery may be longer depending on the speed of your local postal service and/or if your package has to go through customs. Please note that we cannot deliver to international PO boxes as we use a secure insured postal service that requires a signature.

Our Jewellery
Please contact us if you wish to purchase the necklace displayed in the photos. The chain and pendant are 1930s Art Deco and both are made of solid sterling silver. The pendant is set with a beautiful blister pearl (formed naturally within Abalone shell) and the chain has a very pretty clasp with a central flower and pierced hearts. This necklace originates from the US which is lovely as this is where the box is from. The chain is original to the pendant and both are stamped STERLING. No two blister pearls form the same and so each is always unique! The price of the necklace is £100.00.
