Beautiful antique Edwardian jewellery box, circa 1905-1910. Made of solid Oak. The interior has been newly refurbished with beautiful new padded panels and linings.

This is a lovely antique Edwardian jewellery box with a beautiful newly refurbished interior. The box is circa 1905-1910 and is in very good condition.
The Exterior
This box is made of solid Oak. The lid has a stylish pyramid-like shape and the sides have beautiful handmade dovetail joints.
The box has a simple lift-up lid and is complete with its original hinges.
There is a felt covering to the bottom of the box which will protect the surfaces of furniture.
The Oak has a beautiful grain and a wonderful polished finish.
The Interior
The interior has a lift-out storage tray which has two compartments. Beneath this is a further, larger single compartment.
All three compartments have been fully refurbished by ourselves. They all have new padded cotton panels in their bases and new high-quality patterned paper linings to their walls.
The padded panels are a lovely pale peach shade and provide cushioned protection for jewellery.
We have used two beautiful contrasting papers for the walls. Both have a matching pattern and colour but one has a beautiful gold embossed finish.
Condition
This wonderful old box is in very good condition. It has sound structure and only minor light wear, commensurate with age and honest use.
The interior linings, being new, are in immaculate unused condition.
