A beautiful handmade retro vintage jewellery box with an Art Deco inspired design and form. Beautiful inlay decoration to the exterior and a newly refurbished velvet lined interior.

This is a beautiful handmade vintage jewellery box, dating to the 1950s. It has an Art Deco inspired design and form and the interior has been newly refurbished.
The Exterior
This box is made of solid wood. It has beautiful inlay to the lid and front, and an ebonised finish to the edges of the lid and around the bottom.
The box stands slightly raised on nicely shaped block feet. It has a stylish, streamlined, Art deco inspired shape which was popular during the Art Deco period.
The Interior
The interior has four beautifully partitioned triangular shaped compartments. The bases of these have been newly refurbished with premium cotton velvet linings. The velvet is a beautiful royal blue shade.
Condition
This beautiful box is in excellent condition. It has sound structure and only light age related wear. All of the inlay is present and set beautifully flush into the lid.
The interior linings, being new, are in clean, unused, unworn condition.

Width: 10.0cm
Height: 9.0cm (excluding the feet)
Interior Compartments - Front & Rear x 2:
17.0 by 4.2cm with a 3.3cm depth.
Interior Compartments - Left & Right x 2:
8.3 by 7.5cm with a 3.3cm depth.
The longest and widest measurements have been taken, due to the shape of the compartments.

International postage is £30 by Royal Mail International Tracked and/or Signed For postage. Delivery is fast, within 3-5 working days to Europe and 5-7 working days to the rest of the world. Delivery may be longer depending on the speed of your local postal service and/or if your package has to go through customs. Please note that we cannot deliver to international PO boxes as we use a secure insured postal service that requires a signature.
