A beautiful handmade vintage jewellery box with an Art Deco inspired inlaid Sunray design to the lid. Original linings to the interior.

This is a beautiful handmade vintage jewellery box, dating to the 1970s/1980s. It has Art Deco inspired inlay on the lid and its original linings to the interior.
The Exterior
This box is made of solid wood and has a decorative raised panel upon the lid. This has a superb inlaid Sunray design which consists of a variety of beautiful hardwoods. This is an Art Deco inspired design, the Sunray motif being hugely popular throughout the 1920s and 30s Deco period.
The box has a stylish streamlined design which was also popular during the Art Deco period. It has a wonderful plinthed base and its original decorative brass hinges and catch.
The Interior
The interior has a lovely long and spacious storage compartment. It is deep enough to hold broad watches and bangles. All of the interior has its original red felt linings.
Condition
This beautiful box is in excellent condition. It has sound structure and very little wear. All of the inlay is present and set beautifully flush into the lid.
There is minor wear and a few little marks to the interior linings.

Length: 32.8cm
Width: 15.2cm
Height: 7.4cm
The measurements have been taken across the plinthed base.
Interior Compartment:
28.0 by 10.5cm with a 4.5cm depth.

International postage is £30 by Royal Mail International Tracked and/or Signed For postage. Delivery is fast, within 3-5 working days to Europe and 5-7 working days to the rest of the world.
