This is a lovely small Italian jewellery box with a beautiful sterling silver panel to the lid. The silver is fully hallmarked.
The Exterior
This box has a beautiful veneered wood finish and is decorated with a hallmarked silver panel. The panel has beautiful raised flowers and bears the designer's signature.
Hallmark/Makers Mark/Age
The silver has an Italian hallmark which loosely dates it to between 1968 and the present year. It also has a 925 sterling silver purity stamp. There is also a 2÷3g stamp present, indicating the plaque has a silver covering that weighs between 2 and 3 grams. The plaque bears the designer Gionfini's signature.
The Interior
The interior has a single storage compartment with its original beige linings. The lining to the inside of the lid has a gold metal badge marked ACCA. This is the jewellery studio that produced the box.
Condition
This box is in very good pre-loved condition. There is some minor wear to the silver plaque. Please see the photos provided.
