This is a lovely antique jewellery box, dating to the Edwardian period. It is in good condition and has its original linings.
The Exterior
This box is made of solid Mahogany. It has a stylish streamlined rectangular shape, quality dovetail joints, and its original porcelain handle.
The box has its original hinges and stands raised on its original beautifully turned ball feet.
Note - the lid is heavy and the box will tip back until it is filled with jewellery.
The Interior
The interior has two nicely partitioned storage compartments, each with their original velvet linings.
Age
Circa 1901-1910.
Condition
This beautiful box is in very good condition. It has sound structure and only minor light wear, commensurate with age and honest use.
The interior linings are in good clean condition with some age related wear, as expected.

Height: 7.8cm (including the feet)
