A beautiful antique Ebony wood jewellery box dating to the Edwardian period. Stylish shape with flowing curves and beautifully turned legs. Original satin linings to the interior.

This is a beautiful antique Ebony wood jewellery box. It dates to the Edwardian period and is complete with its original satin linings.
The Exterior
This box is made of solid dark Ebony wood. It has a very stylish shape with its beautiful flowing curves and it stands raised on beautifully turned Ebony wood legs.
The box has its original polished white metal hinges.
There is a small discreet 'REAL EBONY' stamp on the bottom of the box.
The Interior
The interior has a beautifully shaped storage compartment which is complete with its original gold satin linings. The lining to the base is lightly padded, providing cushioned protection for jewellery.
Age
Edwardian. Circa 1901-1910.
Condition
This box is still in lovely condition despite its 110-120 years of age. It has sound structure and only minor light age-related wear. The hinges are still in perfect working order and the legs are secure and free from damage.
The interior satin linings are still securely seated and have no splits. Being original they do have some marks from previous jewellery storage.

International postage is £30 by Royal Mail International Tracked and/or Signed For postage. Delivery is fast, within 3-5 working days to Europe and 5-7 working days to the rest of the world. Delivery may be longer depending on the speed of your local postal service and/or if your package has to go through customs. Please note that we cannot deliver to international PO boxes as we use a secure insured postal service that requires a signature.
