Lovely small Italian jewellery box with a hallmarked sterling silver lid. This has a beautiful organic design and is signed by the artist.

This is a lovely small Italian modern jewellery box with a beautiful sterling silver lid. The silver is fully hallmarked and has the artist's signature.
The Exterior
This box has a lovely marbled wood veneer which has been stained and also highly polished and varnished. This has given it a beautiful glossy sheen.
The silver has a decorative textured organic design and bears the artist's signature.
The lid has a ball topped post handle which enables you to lift it up with ease.
Hallmark/Maker
The silver has a 925 sterling silver purity stamp. There is also a 1÷2g stamp present, indicating the lid has a resin base with a silver covering that weighs between 1 and 2 grams.
This box was made by the Italian firm, Leader Argenti.
The box is complete with its original 925 silver guarantee certificate and also a care instruction leaflet.
The Interior
The base of the interior has a green velvety felt lining. The inside of the lid has a matching covering plus a small plaque bearing the maker's name.
Condition
This box is in excellent pre-loved condition and appears to have seen very little use. The silver is in very good condition. It has no dints and only minor light tarnish.
Measurements
Please use the following measurements to ensure the box is the right size for your requirements. It is a charming small box which will hold a few small select pieces of jewellery. It would make an ideal ring box.
