A lovely small refurbished vintage Anglo Indian box with carved decoration. Made of Sandalwood and with a newly refurbished interior.

This is a small vintage Anglo Indian box dating to the 1950s. It is the ideal size for the presentation of small pieces of jewellery such as rings, earrings and pendants.
The Exterior
This box is made of Sandalwood and has beautiful carved decoration. The lid features a nicely carved Bird of Paradise, surrounded by leaves.
The Interior
The interior has been newly refurbished. The base of the compartment has a new dusky pink velvet panel and the walls have new floral patterned paper linings. The inside of the lid has a new paper panel which features a beautiful bird upon a leafy branch. The velvet panel provides soft protection for jewellery.
Condition
This box is in very good vintage condition. It has sound structure and no cracks. .
The interior linings, being new, are in immaculate unused unworn condition.
