A lovely small Italian two drawer jewellery box with a decorative sterling silver finish.

This is a beautiful small Italian jewellery box with a beautiful sterling silver finish.
The Exterior
The back, bottom, and left/right sides of this box have nicely figured faux burl wood veneer. The fronts of the drawers have a cherry stained finish.
The lid has beautifully shaped adornments with embossed decoration and the centre of the drawers have oval adornments with pretty beading detail. These adornments are made of white metal and have a beautiful polished sterling silver finish. The handles on the drawers are white metal and are not finished with silver.
Stamps to the White Metal/Silver Adornments
AN AG 1g 190. The stamps indicate a sterling silver finish with the silver amounting to 1 gram in weight.
The Interior
Each drawer has a single compartment and the bases of these are complete with their original green felt linings. The bottom of the drawers are lined with the same.
The interior and exterior walls of the drawers have faux burl wood veneer, matching that on the box's exterior.
Age
Modern, 10-15 years old.
Condition
This box is in very good pre-loved condition. It has sound structure and no dents or scratches.
The silver finish is in excellent condition with no tarnish.
The interior felt linings are neatly fitted and in good clean condition.
There is minor light wear/tarnish to the handles.
