Beautiful vintage velveteen covered ring box. Circa 1970s. Padded velveteen insert and silk-covered lining to the inside of the lid. Polished gold metal trim to the exterior. Secure high quality sprung hinge.

This is a beautiful vintage ring presentation box, dating to the 1970s.
The ring in the photos is for display purposes and is not included with the box. It can however be purchased from us - please see the details at the bottom of the page.
The Exterior
This box has a beautiful plush velveteen covering which has faded slightly to a lovely dusky grey shade.
The lid has a stylish flat-top pyramid shape and the box is beautifully finished with polished gold metal trim.
The box has a quality strong sprung hinge which keeps the box securely closed.
The Interior
The interior has a beautiful padded velveteen insert which is a lovely dusky duck egg blue shade. This was the shade of the velveteen to the exterior before it faded to a dusky grey shade. The insert is plump and provides cushioned protection for a special ring.
The inside of the lid has a white silk covered lining with a flap that extends to conceal the hinge.
Condition
This box is in very good pre-loved condition. It has sound structure and a very secure hinge.
There is minor light wear and fading to the exterior velveteen and light discolouration to the velveteen insert - just around the slot from where rings have been placed. The wear/fading is commensurate with age and honest use.
The polished gold metal trim is still securely seated and there are no splits to the velveteen or silk.
