Beautiful large faux leather jewellery box with a strong carrying handle and gold metal fitments.
This is a beautiful large modern jewellery box with a quality simulated leather exterior. It has a strong carrying handle with gold metal fitments and a complementing gold metal clasp.
The clasp has a spring-loaded, press in release and the box is complete with its original key. This is still attached to the inside hinge and has never been used.
The simulated leather has a textured finish which gives it the appearance of real leather.
The interior has a fixed storage tray at the top with multiple compartments and a ring storage section at the front. Beneath the tray are two large storage drawers.
The Top Fixed Tray
This has 2 narrow side compartments and a lidded compartment in the centre at the back. In front of this are 6 small compartments which are the ideal size for storing earrings. The ring storage section at the front of the tray will hold approximately 36 rings. Each groove should easily hold 2 rings of an average size. The 2 side compartments have padded covers with simulated leather pull tabs.
The Top Storage Drawer
This has 2 narrow side compartments and a larger centre compartment. The side compartments are perfect for laying out chains and necklaces and the centre compartment can be used for storing pendants, brooches and slim bracelets or bangles.
The Bottom Storage Drawer
This has a single large compartment which is deeper and much roomier than those in the top drawer. This compartment is ideal for larger pieces of jewellery such as broad bangles, watches and beads.
Both drawers are finished with simulated leather and have gold metal handles to compliment the fitments and the clasp on the exterior. The lid to the centre rear compartment in the tray is also finished with the same.
There is a lovely fitted mirror to the inside of the lid, and a ruched fabric pouch beneath this. All of the compartments are neatly lined with a soft suedette fabric which is cream in colour. The pouch is made of the same.
The lid has a gold metal cantilever hinge which prevents it from falling backwards. This too compliments the other gold fittings.

Condition
This lovely box is in wonderful condition with very little wear. It appears to have barely been used, if ever.
There are a few light finger marks to the inner suedette lining and a few marks to the base of the box.
The mirror is still perfectly clear and has no chips or scratches.
