Superb large quality Italian jewellery box with beautiful burl wood veneer. Lovely raised panel to the lid. Multiple compartments with soft velvety flock linings.

This is a fabulous large modern jewellery box with beautiful burl wood veneer. It is a quality Italian made box with multiple compartments.
The Exterior
This box has a beautiful burl wood veneered finish. It has a lovely raised panel to the lid and a shallow moulded plinth base.
The box has a beautiful long polished gold metal piano hinge. This is a quality stop hinge which holds the lid upright.
The bottom of the box has a soft velvety flock covering which will protect the surfaces of furniture. This has a MADE IN ITALY stamp.
Please note there is no key with this box.
The Interior
The interior has a lift out storage tray with multiple compartments and ring storage sections. Beneath this is a large spacious single compartment.
The inside of the lid and the base of the large compartment have padded velvety flock covered panels. The compartments of the tray and walls of the large compartment have velvety flock linings. The bottom of the tray is lined with the same. The flock is beige and is beautifully soft.
The tray has glossy polished gold metal handles. These allow you to lift out the tray with ease.
The compartments in the tray are various shapes and sizes and are suitable for small pieces of jewellery such as earrings, pendants, chains and brooches etc. There are two ring storage sections in the tray which will hold approximately 10 rings.
The large base compartment is very spacious and ideal for bigger pieces of jewellery such as bangles, beads and watches etc.
Condition
This wonderful box is in very good condition with only minor light wear.
The interior flock linings are in excellent condition with no stains, splits or fraying. The box has barely been used, if at all.
There is a minor ding to the surface of the centre-right wood divider in the ring storage section.
The front right corner of the lid has a tiny piece of veneer missing. This is barely noticeable.
The hinge is in perfect working order and the box is of very sound structure.
There is minor wear/marks around the edges of the flock covering on the bottom of the box.
