Very large vintage Chinese jewellery box with beautiful deep hand carved decoration. 7 lined storage compartments.

This is a very large Chinese vintage jewellery box, with multiple compartments and beautiful hand carving.
The Exterior
This box has deep hand carved decoration which features Dragons and Pagodas against a Chinese landscape. It has a decorative gold metal clasp with beautiful engraved flowers, and shaped gold metal hinges.
The box stands raised on large carved feet.
The Interior
The interior has six storage compartments plus a further larger compartment in the drawer at the front. There are 3 lids at the top of the box which when opened reveal the storage compartments. Three of these compartments automatically raise up on cantilever hinges when the lids are opened. The top centre compartment has a ring storage section to the left of it.
All of the compartments have lovely red felt linings.
There is a lovely fitted mirror to the inside of the centre lid.
Age
1950s.
Condition
This fabulous box is in great condition with very little wear for its 60 plus years of age.
The interior felt linings are very good with no splits or fraying. There are a few tiny marks in the large centre and right compartments.
The partition to the left of the centre compartment is slightly bowed. This does not affect the structure or functionality of the box.
The mirror is clear and has no damage.
The box is of sound structure and has no cracks or chips. There is only minor light wear to the wood.

Left & Right Compartments:
Each 17.3 by 6.2cm with a 3.8cm depth.
Large Drawer Compartment:
34.7 by 10.5cm with a 3.0cm depth.
