This is a stunning modern jewellery box with a beautiful 1930s Art Deco inspired design. It is a superb high-quality box with a luxurious refurbished interior.
The Exterior
This box has a superb simulated Flame Mahogany and Birds Eye Maple finish. The Maple is a beautiful wide panel across the lid and it is bordered by simulated inlaid banding. All of this has a gorgeous high gloss lacquered finish with a beautiful shine and an ultra-smooth feel.
The box has a very stylish streamlined shape with beautiful curvature to the front of the lid. This design was very popular throughout the 1920s/30s Art Deco period.
The bottom of the box has a lovely soft felt covering which will protect the surfaces of furniture.
The box has superb high-quality quadrant hinges. These are made of solid gold metal and they hold the lid upright at a 90 degree angle. The metal has a high-polished finish which has given it a beautiful shine.
The box has a beautiful complimentary gold clasp with the same lovely finish as the hinges.
The Interior
The interior has been beautifully converted and refurbished by our wonderful skilled box restorer. It originally had a fitted section for a perfume bottle but it now has a beautiful jewellery storage compartment. The conversion and refurbishment have made this box unique, you will not find another manufactured box like it!
The compartment has a new stunning padded gold satin panel plus gold satin linings to the walls.
The inside of the lid has its original padded panel and its original linings to the walls. These are a pale cream shade and have a soft brushed suede effect. Our restorer has added gold silk cord trim to the panel. This adds a beautiful contrasting colour to the cream and it compliments the gold satin to the compartment. All of this refurbishment has given the box a luxurious look and feel.

Condition
This very stylish box is in excellent condition! It has seen very little use and hence has very little wear.
The interior satin, being brand new, is in superb clean unworn condition. There is no wear and no staining to the original cream linings.
The hinges are in excellent perfect working order.
There is a tiny amount of wear to the covering on the bottom of the box.
