Lovely vintage faux leather jewellery box with a stylish angular design. Beautiful colourful Liberty fabric linings and a polished gold metal clasp. The box dates to the 1980s/90s and is in very good condition.

This is a lovely vintage faux leather jewellery box. It dates to the 1980s/1990s and is in very good condition.
The Exterior
This box has a stylish angular design and a deep navy blue faux leather finish. It has a quality sprung gold metal clasp/lock which has a beautiful polished finish. The clasp is released by pressing down the left side of the lip. There is no key for the lock but the clasp keeps the lid securely closed.
There is high-quality neat stitching to the lid and back of the box.
The bottom of the box has a soft plush velvet-like covering.
The Interior
The interior has two storage compartments and there is a ring storage section behind these. These all have beautiful Liberty fabric linings and so does the inside of the lid. The lining inside the lid and to the ring storage section are both padded. The rest of the interior has soft plush velvet-like linings that match that to the bottom of the box.
The Liberty fabric has an array of beautiful colours and silvery highlights. It has a beautiful floral pattern, combined with a crown and geometric shapes.
Both compartments have plush velvet-like covered pads. These have stylish serrated edges and shaped faux leather pull tabs.
Condition
The box is in very good vintage condition with very little wear.
The interior linings are in superb clean condition and have no splits or fraying.
The clasp is in perfect working order.
There is minor age-related/friction wear to the plush covering on the bottom of the box.
